Tuina

back massage

The Traditional Chinese Massage technique restores psychophysical balance in the body through the use of acupressure points and energy flow through meridians. Its guiding principle is an integrated approach to understanding the human body, the functioning of internal organs and its alignment with the cycles of nature. It does not treat symptoms, but looks for the real causes of body imbalances. Massage should be accompanied by adjusted diet, exercise and work-life balance.

For a more profound effect of my massage, I use homemade oil infusion of St. John’s Wort. Sometimes I use ventouses and sometimes tok sen tools made from tamarind wood. In winter time, I prefer to use moxa (smokeless mugwort stick), which introduces the necessary heat into the body and additionally stimulates the body’s self-healing powers. For me, tuina was the entry point to the world of the alternative healing. It has allowed me to re-establish the contact with my body and break the pattern of disassociation. Moxa has put me back to my feet after every health challenge. I use it regularly in winter time as a form of charging my batteries. In fact, I love moxa so much that I want you to start using it due to its amazing benefits. I have prepared a very practical hands-on course to teach you how to use moxa personally in your daily life. It is so simple and so efficient.
